Jeanette Johnsen
Jeanette Johnsen holds a Master’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Copenhagen, with a specialisation in animal behaviour, welfare, and livestock management. She has more than 25 years of experience with sheep, goats, cattle, pigs, horses, and working dogs, combining practical animal husbandry with teaching, advisory work, and course development.
Jeanette has developed and taught a wide range of agricultural training programmes, with particular expertise in sheep and goat production, animal behaviour, animal welfare, breeding, management, sheepdogs, and livestock guardian dogs.
Through FarmingAcademy, she works to make professional agricultural education accessible online to students, farmers, trainers, and organisations worldwide. Her teaching combines research-based knowledge with practical field experience, giving participants tools they can apply directly in their daily work with animals.

Dr. Carsten Pedersen
Dr Carsten Pedersen is a livestock nutrition specialist and content provider at FarmingAcademy. He holds a PhD in Animal Science from the University of Copenhagen and has a strong professional background in animal nutrition, feed quality, and livestock production.
At FarmingAcademy, Dr Pedersen contributes lectures on nutrition and feed-related topics, helping students understand how feeding strategies affect animal health, welfare, performance, and production results. His teaching combines scientific knowledge with practical experience from the livestock sector.
With his background in research, advisory work, and professional feed evaluation, Dr Pedersen brings expert insight into topics such as nutrient requirements, feed formulation, digestibility, feed regulations, and the practical consequences of nutrition decisions on the farm.

Anna Hedendahl
Anna Hedendahl is a content provider, co-founder, and shareholder at FarmingAcademy. She is from Sweden and holds a Master’s degree in Animal Science from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, completed in 1996.
Anna has a strong professional background in agriculture, rural development, animal production, and horses. She has also worked as a teacher at Wången and has been involved in work connected to the Jämtland sheep and wool.
At FarmingAcademy, Anna contributes with knowledge rooted in both academic training and practical experience. Her work supports the school’s aim of making professional livestock education accessible to farmers, students, trainers, advisors, and organisations.
